Don't see Layer in the arcGis online  that I insert in the arcGis.com in My content.

Hi
I Insert in www.arcGis.com my Content a Layer.
I start arcView 10.0  and open arcGis Online. sign in . I don't see the Layer in the My maps and data. why?

I agree it is a bit confusing.  Layer files (LYR) are currently not shown in ArcMap because they don't actually contain any data. Thus, the likelihood of them working by someone other than the person who created it is small. That being said, you can open the layer file from the arcgis.com website by clicking the Open link, which will launch ArcMap.

I suggest you create a layer package and upload that instead. Then you will be able to see and access it directly from ArcMap. Also, anyone who can see the layer package will be able to open it.

I Create map package and it automaticly send to my acount.
If I define that this package is public why I don't see it in the galery of arcGis.com?

The gallery shows a list of hand picked items...

There is a link on the right side of the page that says "Most Recent". Clicking that may show you your layer package...as long as you don't wait too long because as people share their items, the most recent list changes.
