Creator pricing. Is this prohibitive to anyone?

In the UK, we have observed year on year pricing increases in the Creator licence.

  • 2024 - £1000
  • 2023 - £766
  • 2022 - £698
  • 2021 - £662
  • 2020 - £630

This year, with the Creator licence now bundling support for ArcGIS Pro Basic, and Image Service hosting, you can see the logic behind the price bump to £1000. (note this is still only $700 in the US (£538GBP))

Irrespective of the geographic differences between the ESRI store prices, do people see this new consolidated Creator licence more prohibitive to AGOL uptake in the GIS community?

I know a number of professional consultancies who require a single ArcGIS Pro licence, and several Creator licences for a number of reasons.

1. you need creator to store geoprocessing results

2. non-gis professionals still want to create web apps from the data that their GIS team members are creating

3. some consultancies have their own AGOL organisation, but pay external GIS consultants to create and publish data for them

I'd also be interested to know what the hisotoric pricing has been for ESRI Inc (US) year on year, just to see if this new price bump is global or localised.

EDIT: I've just seen a post online 3 years ago where someone quoted the US creator licence at $500/year but came with a Pro licence for an additional $700. So no price change in 3 years, which Imagery hosting now bundled? Is that true?
