Creating a join with another join: Unable to save as hosted feature layer view

I create my first join and check "Create results as hosted feature layer view".

Then when I join this new feature layer view to another layer the option to "Create results as hosted feature layer view" is greyed out.

I've tested using a "normal" feature layer view and when I join that to another layer I can save it as a hosted layer view.

So why can't I create a hosted feature layer view in my first scenario?

I have a feature layer with the following relationships: parent -> child -> grandchild

and I want to join all three of these tables into a "live" view.

Is this even possible?

Do you own all of the layers?

Please note these limitations when storing join results as a feature layer view:'

You can create a hosted feature layer view from the analysis results if all of the following conditions are met:

  • You are the owner of both layers.
  • Both layers are hosted feature layers.
  • You are performing an attribute join.

Thanks Kelly,

I do own all the layers and I'm performing an attribute join.
