I cannot figure it out where to change it for the whole field (NOT using calculate field)I found this article: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/dashboards/latest/get-started/format-numbers.htm

But I cannot find the Formatting settings for the table.

Is there a way to do that?

The link you shared is a setting within Dashboards, if you select a gauge, serial chart, indicator and a table you will find this setting somewhere around here.

If you want to have less Significant digits in the table, try this in the Visualization pane.

Hi @PeterGoedbloedd I don't think it's currently possible to alter the precision the data is stored with at the feature layer level. This is something which instead can often be configured within whichever client the data is consumed in (e.g. Dashboards, Map Viewer, ArcGIS Pro, etc)

Well, that's pity....

Thanks for the answer!

No problem @PeterGoedbloedd, perhaps not what you were looking for but I hope it's helpful

Hi @PeterGoedbloedd , you can specify the number of decimal places for a feature layer both from Map viewer and Visualization page by:

  • Select the layer in the Layers panel > open Fields
  • Select the Field name > modify the Significant digits

  • Once you configure the decimal places for the field, you can Save the changes to the existing layer, Save as a new item in your Content, or Save it to a Web map
