I maintain a parcel feature service for our organization that is overwritten every week with updated data.
The last time I tried to overwrite the service I got an error in ArcMap indicating problems with the SD file. I tried deleting the SD file, with the idea of overwriting the feature service using Pro. When I attempted to overwrite in Pro, the feature layer I wanted to overwrite was not displayed in the list of portal items to choose from.
So, it turns out after investigating -- my parcels feature service in AGOL mysteriously changed it's type from: 'Feature Layer (hosted)' to 'Feature Layer'. Has anyone else come across this?
