Can you have a publically editable layer that does not require the user to log-in

I am setting up a public web app to embed into a web page. Is it possible to have a "crowd source" layer in the app that members of the public can mark up - without it being through Twitter?

If this isn't possible through AGOL, but can be done via AG for Javascript or Flex, please let me know.

Regards

Matt

Hi Matt,

If you have a Feature Service hosted in ArcGIS Online, you can share it public and enable editing.

Thanks Andrew, I had tried that, but wasn't sure my tests worked - but it may have been due to me keeping some of the tiles and the app within the organisation whilst I tested it. However, in the end, I think I may just pull in an externally hosted public KML with hyperlinks so the public can make edits there and the map app remains for viewing.

Cheers
