When you add a secured ArcGIS Server map service item to ArcGIS Online by URL, you can optionally embed credentials so that the map service automatically authenticates when you open it.
Is there a way to identify which username was embedded? In other words, is there some API endpoint that will tell me which username the proxy service is using?
Hi Denise, I'm not sure if there is an easier way but when there is activity on the ArcGIS Online service with stored credentials, the respective ArcGIS Server logs should tell you this information, via the 'User Name' column in Server Manager for instance.
