Can't open a basemap from ArcGIS Online (ArcMap Desktop 10.2)

I use ArcMap Desktop 10.2 (Home Use license) and was trying to open a basemap from ArcGIS Online through a map document file (.mxd) instead of through an internet browser (IE, Firefox, etc).

E.g.) This is the map I want to open on ArcMap

At the OPEN drop-down tab, I choose "Open in ArcGIS For Desktop".

But somehow ArcMap 10.2 can't open the basemap, which is the downloaded file ("item.pkinfo" (428 bytes) file) from www.argis.com).

I checked it with ArcGIS Desktop 10.1 SP1, and there is no such problem opening a basemap from ArcGIS Online.

Q:
How should I troubleshoot the problem?
Any Server Pack for Desktop 10.2 ?


I found a similar thread on similar problem, but they were talking about the older versions of ArcGIS.
