ArcGIS Online Popup Configuration

Hello,

I have a layer that contains 300 sublayers.  I am about to begin configuring the popups for all of these layers.  The problem is, I am concerned I will have to do all of this popup configuration for every web map I pull this huge layer into.  Meaning, I'll have to configure the popups over and over again. 

Is there a way to store popup configuration with the layer so it holds those popup config settings in any web map I add it to?

Once you've configured your popup info you can save the info with the item properties so its accessible in other web maps where you use the layer.  More info can be found here (search for Save Layer)

so to conclude:

if you own the item, your popup configurations carry.

if you dont own the item, they will not
