All,
i'd like to ask a hypothetical question...
say you own a very large commercial farm, with multiple locations within a given area. you have polygons that represent each farm area and you only want the foreman of each area to be able to edit their own area of polygons.
is it possible to publish one large map to AGOL but restrict which areas that the foreman can actually edit?
foreman A = only edit area A
foreman B = only edit area B
foreman C = only edit area C
President = edit all areas
thanks
Dave

Hi Dave,
You could potentially do this by using feature layer views to display only the needed polygon and share that view with the appropriate editor. As the owner of the layer, the primary layer could be shared with the owner or president with all data being viewable.
For more information on feature layer views, check out the follow documentation:

Another option may be to use editor tracking to control the editing, but feature layer views will be more straight forward.

Hello Dave,
Maybe this will work for your team:
