Wondering if its possible to add a North arrow to a webmap?
Since you aren't able to rotate a map, north is always on top of your screen. I don't see a need to add a north arrow, which I am pretty sure, you can't add.
I may need to print this map.
You could do this if you have ArcGIS Server and create a custom print service. Using the service you can customize and number of layouts for printing.
(but my guess is that is not the answer you are looking for)
North is at the top (it's usually a rare case when it isn't even in print), but we need to be potentially prepared for viewers with a wide range of cartographic literacy, including not knowing that north is up on the web map.
