We are trying to deploy a Citizen Problem Reporter app for the city, but we cannot figure out how to add/unlock the locator for users to report items/issues at their exact location. Can anyone help out here? We deployed the whole operation through the Solution Deployment Add-In through ArcPro. Thanks!

Are you using http or https for your web application?

If we can go solely based on the URL, it does in fact begin as http:// with no s.

Hi Grant,

Looking at the url will tell you whether or not you are using the http or https protocol. The locate widget used in our web apps use the geolocation API. This requires https protocol in order for the widget to appear in most browser (chrome, safari and more). You can read more about this requirement here: Increased web API security in Google Chrome | ArcGIS Blog

If possible, enable HTTPS on your web server to utilize the locate widget.

Thanks,

Kelly

It works on desktop! Now though, it is not able to be used on mobile. As soon as I "log in as guest" it pushes me to our organizations log in page. How do we stop that??
