Add part of image services of mosaic dataset to ArcGIS Online

I would like to add a part of image services of mosaic dataset to ArcGIS Online as a web layer.
If you know how to do it or tried to do it before, could you give me some ideas? Thanks!

Yao:

Instead of adding your image service directly from within the map, have you tried adding the Image Service to a folder in your "My Content" area, then open your map and add the image service to your map from your My Content using >Add >Search for Layers?
