Add hours and minuets to dates

Howdy,

I need to add hours and minuets in the date field in one of my feature services. When I click on the field I can add the date but there is not time picker (that I can see) and it doesn't allow me to type in the time with the date.

Does anyone know how to add time to a date field in arcgis.com?

Hey Ben,

I'm assuming you've probably already found a solution to this but in my limited experience, here's my offering: I formatted my times in an excel spreadsheet (using whatever time format you need) and then loaded the data. It populates the times into the field with AM or PM. Hope this helps...

Hello Lary,

I'm sorry I should have mentioned this in the beginning. I am using an Microsoft SQL Express database (ArcSDE) to store my data, if I were to export it to Excel it would no longer be dynamic. However, are you saying that when you format the time in Excel there is a date picker option in the edit box of arcgis.com?
