We have various layers that are intended for public-use and consumption. While it is great to add photos to records, my idea is for there to be better support to assign captions and alternative text to photos, for accessibility reasons and for better interpretation of our photos.
There is an existing submitted ArcGIS Idea that specifies adding captions to pop-ups, but my request is different. We would like to connect captions/alternative text directly to the attachment record. For example, when the photos are attached to the record, we need the ability to fill in additional text/context for the caption. Each photo would have its own separate caption and alternative text, which would result in something similar to how Story Maps looks.
