Reintroduce "Apply Filter and Zoom To" to Map viewer

In Mapviewer classic, when filtering the user was presented with two options:
"Apply Filter" and "Apply Filter and Zoom to"
The second of which highlighted matching records in the map and zoomed to them.
In the new Map Viewer the "zoom to option" has been removed and now the user has to either re-highlight the layer and use the "Zoom to extent" option therein or open the attribute table, select the record and then zoom to it. Either way it is at least one extra step and something that slows people's workflows down.
It is hard to convert people to using the new viewer when it does something less well than the classic one.
Please reintroduce the "Apply Filter and Zoom To" or offer a select by attributes alternative.
