I would like to propose extending the functionality of labelling in AGOL. If I have a multi-polygon on an AGOL webmap, I am unable to label all parts of that multi-polygon. On my webmap, it defaults to labelling the largest polygon, however I would like to label all parts.
For context, the multi-polygon I am working with is a Met Office weather alert, who recently published an alert as a multi polygon (such as if a warning covers both Northern Ireland and Scotland), and the label only covered the largest part, which was Scotland.
I also have this issue with labelling multi-part polygons in Map Viewer.
My use case is non-contiguous national park areas.
I'd like to add to the pile here and say I am experiencing a similar issue!
In my case, I have some multi-part polygons, but ALSO if the polygon is large enough and the extent doesn't include enough of the polygon (though still it takes up a fair bit of screen area) it also doesn't label in the extent visible.
