Export Data Outside AGOL on Item Details Page
It would be nice to have the Export Data option for hosted feature layers (export as zipped shapefile or a kmz), tables (MS-Excel formats) and imagery (.TIFF and etc.) outside of AGOL like to desktop. Currently the Export Data option has the option to export only within AGOL
Hey @Ed_ it is possible to export data from a hosted feature layer, given a couple of requirements as documented here.
Do you own the item? Check if the Export data setting is toggled on for that item.
Good morning Laura, thank you for the response, yes I am aware of these options but it doesn't let you download the data directly to somewhere outside of AGOL or Enterprise. You first have to export to AGOL as an item (costing storage credits on AGOL, plus you would have to delete the item after downloading it since you might need it on AGOL) and then download it. It would be nice to have the external export option directly embedded in the export popup window (see screenshot) once Export Data is clicked
