Both ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online provide several options to configure default layers. For example to configure a default basemap for your organization. In Pro, this includes setting a default Ground Elevation Surface for new scenes. In our case, it would be very useful to use Esri's 3D elevation which is in RD New instead of WGS84.
Interestingly, this option can currently only be set in Portal for ArcGIS.
My idea is to make this option available in ArcGIS Online as well.
