Within our portal we allow our GIS staff to manage their own users due to the nature of our projects. It would be helpful then if we could set up default custom roles for different user types in our AGOL portal to avoid people being assigned the incorrect roles. You can currently set up a default user type and role for users joining automatically via SAML but it would be good if this could be done for all user types e.g.
- Creator - custom publisher role
- Contributor - customer editor role
- Viewer - custom viewer role
- Etc.
We use custom roles as the defaults often don't have the right privileges or grant too many privileges so this would be very useful. Thanks
