Troubleshoot: Tool dialog box is not appearing correctly when I open a model in view-only mode
For most models, tool dialog boxes can be opened in view-only mode to see the parameters used in the tool. In some cases for models created before June 25, 2025, parameters or parameter values may not be visible, or may not use the correct labels. In those cases, complete the following steps to update the model:
1. Connect to an analysis session.
Note: Connecting to an analysis session consumes credits.
2. Click Make active.
The model changes to active mode.
3. Make a change on the model diagram that will enable the Save button. For example, moving a model element or clicking Auto layout 
4. Click Save 
5. Click Disconnect to end the analysis session.
You should now be able to see all tool parameters in view-only mode.
Note: If you are viewing a model that was shared with you, you will need to ask the model owner to complete the steps or create a copy of the model.
