For an intermodal network model in the ArcGIS 10 Network Analyst extension, we want to have many paramaters (>40) that can be updated without having to rebuild the model. However, if we use a python script that updates these parameter using the 'UpdateAnalysisLayerAttributeParameter_na' syntax, it becomes very slow. It appears that it has to start a new procedure for every parameter. Does anyone know if it is possible to optimize this process.
