  1. The navigator for ArcGIS user can search for a point using longitude and latitude. Is it possible to use the projected coordinate system like UTM (X, Y) instead?
  2. Is it supported in navigator that user can add barriers to the route he needs to navigate? If no, when this feature can be available?
  3. In the developer options at the navigator, there is “Route Tracker logging” What is this option used for?
  4. How can we track and view the usage of navigator?
  5. Is there any way to add custom functionality to Navigator for ArcGIS? Ie.
    1. Hazard Notification that appears to the user if he approaches to certain locations
    2. Go to X, Y using projected coordinate system beside currently used Geographic coordinate system during the search
    3. Suggest more than one route and enable the user to select one from
    4. Enable user to add barriers to the map so to be avoided during routing and navigation
    5. Search for service areas around a point of interest
    6. Enable TOC Tree View in the navigator so the user can change the visibility of different layer

Please specify if any of the previous needed features are already available in Navigator. Or can be obtained from other Esri products that can integrate with the navigator.

Omar,

These are great enhancements to Navigator some of which will certainly be considered for the upcoming release of Navigator which is currently underway. I also encourage you to also use the Esri Ideas site to crowd source these great enhancements so we can get a better idea of the more popular requests and prioritize those. Here is a link to the navigator page: ArcGIS Ideas

Thanks again,

-Brent
