labels not showing up in navigator?

I can't seem to get labels to show up in Navigator. I am building the mmpk via pro and there are numerous labels showing up for the road data, just not our point assets. 

Any hints from anyone?

For your point layer, try using "VBScript" for the language in your label class, and see if that makes a difference.
