Hello,

For some reason parts of the Dataview / Element creation just aren't clicking for me - despite all of the ones I have configured and all of the examples out there, I'm struggling to build a serial chart that just shows me a count of services over time. Can someone lend a hand please? I'd include screenshots of my attempts but I just don't feel like I'm on the right track at all.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi @ChrisTaylor2,

I am not quite sure I understand what you're asking for when you say,

I'm struggling to build a serial chart that just shows me a count of services over time

Do you mean, the number of web services running on an ArcGIS Server site over time? For example: day one you have 20 services, then the next day 5 more are published bringing the total to 25 services, then the next day 3 are deleted, changing the total to 22. Is this what you mean?

If so, we don't currently capture the "count of services over time". Please submit an enhancement request on the ArcGIS Monitor Ideas forum

Or are you asking for something else? In which case, can you please elaborate?

Hope this helps,

Hi @DerekLaw and thanks for responding. That's exactly what I mean, yes. It felt to me like all of the pieces were there and I was just missing something, but good to know maybe I'm not as confused as I thought I was.

I will submit an enhancement request, thanks.
