ArcGIS Monitor 2025.0.1 - Datastore not collecting metrics

We recently deployed ArcGIS Monitor 2025.0.1 and are experiencing an issue where the datastore is not collecting metrics, data or the VM specs.

The component was registered using the database admin user credentials. The ArcGIS Monitor agent was deployed with a local account that has been added to local users groups: performance monitor + remote management. Inbound open ports are 30443, 30080, 5432. We have also enabled permissions for WMI cimv2.

Portal of ArcGIS is hosted on the same VM as the ArcGIS datastore and is functioning as expected (collecting and displaying metrics), as is the Windows host machine - so the issue doesn't appear to be with the ArcGIS Monitor Agent.

Any suggestions?

Hi @MichelleAlley,

Is this ArcGIS Data Store relational or configured for something else?

We have replicated the issue in another environment - that was upgraded to 2025.0.1.

HI @MichelleAlley,

Thanks for confirming you're working with the ArcGIS relational Data Store.

One last thing to check: have you set the enablessl option to true?
https://doc.arcgis.com/en/monitor/latest/get-started/windows/register-arcgis-data-store.htm
(see item 2 on this prerequisites list)

If yes, then please contact Esri Tech Support so they can help investigate further.

Hope this helps,

What version of Enterprise are you on? Our datastore quit collecting data when we upgraded from 11.3 to 11.5. Now in Observers > Inventory - Arcgis Data Store > Logs we are getting the error of "Command failed: "C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\DataStore\tools\listBackups.bat" Error encountered: You do not have permission to perform this task. Please retry as the data store owner or Windows Administrator. If you are already a member of the Windows Administrators group, please try "Run as Administrator".". I have not contacted ESRI support to investigate yet.
