I am new in ArcGIS Monito and never used it. We have got ArcGIS Monitor 2023.3.1 installed on dedicated Windows server machine. We have added highly available ArcGIS Portal and ArcGIS Server as component, i.e., we have 2 machines for each scenario in ArcGIS Enterprise Version 10.9.1. As per the documentation we can add only one component for ArcGIS Portal and another one for ArcGIS Server. However, in 2023.3.1 version we can’t find any metric option to check the CPU or memory utilisation for the portal or server machine.

Can someone help me advising on how we can add ArcGIS Portal and Server machine to check the health of those machines, please.

Hi @ZahidMia,

For CPU utilization for both the enterprise portal and GIS Server, you can get these metrics from their respective hosts. Once you register their hosts as components, the CPU metrics will populate.

Hope this helps,

Hi Derek
Thank you very much for your quick reply.

Just to make sure, by the "hosts" did you mean windows machine, where the ArcGIS Portal (or ArcGIS Server) installed. For getting access to portal we use https://xyzxyzxy.userdomain01.domroot.internal:6443/arcgis. So, does it mean that for the host address we should use https://xyzxyzxy.userdomain01.domroot.internal or IP address as aa.bbb.cc.ddd.

I am sorry, for the simple (silly") query we should know.

Thank you again in advance for your kind support/advice.

Correct.

Yes. Host address like https://[hostname].domain.com, or IP address like aa.bb.cc.ddd.

Hope this helps
