How important is BIS metadata schema? Can it change?

Hi All!

I am rebuilding my BIS using the ArcPro toolbox, and have run into an issue with the metadata schema template. Namely, If I select the BAG schema it wont let me add any other type of data. Is this a known limitation?

If it is expected, is there a way to modify the current metadata schema so that I can add other raster types?
