In this just-released blog, the Native Maps SDKs team responds to requests from JavaFX app developers who want to extend the life of their JavaFX app by embedding a map control from a different Native Maps SDK into their JavaFX app. The blog, accompanied by example code in a repo, steps through how to embed a map control from Qt Maps SDK into a JavaFX app by showing how to call a Qt method from Java and how to listen to events between Java and Qt.
The ArcGIS Maps SDK for Local Server has been deprecated and will be retired in 2030. If you have applications that use Local Server, it is time to start planning your migration to the use of core capabilities provided directly by ArcGIS Maps SDKs for Native Apps.
