Sorry about the issues you are experiencing.
At first hand seems to me that some part of the installation may not have completed correctly on your machine. So can you check for a few things on your machine.
Could you please confirm if you have a config.json file installed on your machine in your users profile? In windows it should be under C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Roaming\m4cc\config.
If so can you please send a screen shot of what is in it?
Also wondering what is the OS and Creative Cloud version on this machine?
