Mapping and Charting Solutions 10.2.1. Patch cannot be installed

Question

Hi everyone,

I tried installing Patch 2 of the Mapping and Charting Solutions 10.2.1 yesterday and I was stuck in this problem wherein I CANNOT APPLY the patch to the current version of MCS installed on one of the machines. I was doing it in four other machines and I've got no trouble installing them in the other three.

I used the same installer for the four machines. Any help is gladly appreciated.

Hi Leonard,

Please try the following:

1. Using Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\Users\NCD-CCS\AppData\Local

2. Right-click on the Temp folder and select Properties from the context menu.

3. On the Temp Properties dialog, click the Security tab.

4. On the Security tab, click Edit... and then click Add... and add the username you are using and give yourself Full Control.
