I am interested in extracting the latest NDVI and NDWI (I believe the latest data for IL is from 2024 correct?)  for particular seasons in IL (or particular areas within the state) from the following imagery

USA NAIP Imagery: NDVI

Would it be possible to filter out data for particular start and end dates, like for example Spring leaf off seasons?

What attribute will I use under Definition Query?

The latest NAIP data for IL is 2023.

Regarding data filtering, there is an Acquisition Date field. However, there are a couple things to note:

  1. NAIP imagery is generally collected during agricultural growing season which generally implies "leaf-on"
  2. There is only one acquisition date per acquisition year for any location. i.e. there are not multiple versions of imagery collected in 2023 covering the same location.

Let me know if this answers your questions.

Hi @RWaterman , hope all is well and thank you for the response as it does help understand NAIP imagery a bit more. Now, does the Living Atlas have 4 band imagery or even NDVI time-series imagery close to 3m resolution specifically for leaf-off seasons covering the same location in the US.
