Using ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Living Atlas, you can make a tornado map in a minute (or less). @danpisu details how, using the infamous 1974 Super Outbreak. After 49 years, it is still one of the most active and deadliest in history.
Tornadoes can be mapped using the Tornadoes and Tornado Tracks layers in Living Atlas, coming from official data from NOAA’s Storm Prediction Center.
