Where to create hosted MapImage layers on ArcGIS online

Hello,

I'm attempting to build something very similar to this example: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/layers-mapimagelayer/

The problem is I don't know where to go on the ArcGIS website to build and manage these layers. I have been able to create FeatureLayers and TileLayers here: https://developers.arcgis.com/layers but there isn't an option for any sort of Map Imagery layers.

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong area?

@avecchi when directly publishing to AGOL (ie hosting data on AGOL), you don't have the option to publish Map Image Layers. These are exclusively through Enterprise (Portal and Server).

Your options when publishing to AGOL are fundamentally; Tile Layers and Feature Layers. Within the Tile Layer family, you can publish Vector Tile layers, or Raster Tile layers (as packages), as well as 3D formats such as Scene Layer Packages and Building Scene Layer Packages.
