Dear users,

I wonder if it`s possible by printing a map with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript to see a dynamic pree-selection of the printed area.
What I mean is: If one changes the scale from 1: 50,000 to 1: 10,000, one can see the (changed) area before (!) printing a map.

Similar to that application: https://viglino.github.io/ol-ext/examples/canvas/map.control.printdialog.html

Does anybody know that?
Thank you very much, Kai

Hi @KaiBehncke, thanks for posting your question here. While this is currently not possible, this suggestion is on our radar for consideration at a future release. ArcGIS Ideas is also a good place to post suggestions like this: https://community.esri.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/arcgis-ideas

Hope this helps.
