GoogleMapsCompatible and WMTSLayer console errors after JavaScript API 4.20

Hello all!

We have a Pictometry WMTS imagery service (2D) in a custom JavaScript web application.  I was previously using JavaScript 4.11 and am now getting it up to speed the newer JS API.

It all works until I upgrade past 4.20.  JS 4.20 works fine, but 4.21 or higher throws a lot of errors in the developers tools console; somehting about GoogleMapsCompatible.

It still adds the .png to the map, but there seems to be a corresponding .xml that cannot load.  Using JS 4.23 adds an additional error regarding “esri.views.2d.layers.WMTSLayerView2D”.

(See the various screenshots for the console and header info.)

The imagery loads, so maybe everything is okay.  But all the errors clog up the console, and also makes me wonder if there’s an underlying problem that I’m missing.

(Perhaps this is something I need to bring up to Eagle View?  Maybe their service isn’t updated to work past JS 4.20?  I have no clue what to even look into.  But I figured I’d start here to see if anyone else had problems like this.)

Thanks for any thoughts!
