I need to replace all of my web app builder apps before the retirement in the 4th quarter of 2025.

I would like to find an alternative to experience builder.

Will instant app be retiring soon or will they still be around? Will all of the templates be supported?

@L77 Instant Apps are not retiring, @DavidSolari is correct, it's ArcGIS Configurable Apps that are being deprecated (more details on the deprecation in this KB article).  Below are additional resources to help migrate from Web App Builder to Instant Apps.

- Webinar on the retirement and introduction to Instant Apps, including FAQs

- Gallery of Instant App samples. This gallery contains examples of Instant Apps and a variety of configuration options for each template.

- Search for capabilities within Instant Apps. From the Instant Apps home page, you can search for the capabilities you need in your app. This can help filter the available templates to only show those with the capabilities you need. Clicking the app capabilities, PDF will also show a list of capabilities for all apps.

Instant apps are confirmed for Enterprise 12 as per this blog post, it's configurable apps that got the axe. Instant apps and ExB use the same JavaScript SDK under the hood so I doubt one will disappear before the other.

I created an instant app using the sidebar template and it is working well.

Is there a setting to dock the layer list and the edit widget so I don't have to click to access each?

My workflow is to turn on or off different layers, search for a road then edit the road. Then sometimes filter  by a status on the road layer.

Here is a screenshot of my layer list that I would like to keep docked open.

I would also like to dock the editor tab, but that could just be a dock for the editor tab and also the filter tab:

This is the web app builder app I am trying to recreate as an instant app:

it has a docked edit widget, filter widget, and the layer list docked.
