Time-enabled group layers don't work on the Interactive Legend app?

I have an Interactive Legend app with a time-enabled group layer. However, it appears I am only able to select one of the layers to be associated with the time slider (rather than the entire group, which is how it functions in the Slider app) -- is this the case or am I missing something? I would just use the slider app, but I need the interactive legend.

@KaraG thanks for the feedback.  The app is designed to use the time slider to animate and filter, so we allow for selecting specific layers. I've created an issue to track this request and will look at including an option to select more than one layer so you can animate and filter all your time-enabled data at the same time in a future update.
