Reporter Instant App Filter No Longer Works

Hello!

We're about to roll out our new Citizen Problem Reporter using the Reporter Instant App, but we've noticed that on the Reporter and Manager app that the Filter is no longer functional.  The out-of-the-box version worked when we deployed the Solution in September, but now it just spins and the filter cannot be configured and saved.

I'm guessing this working filter "broke" during the Oct 2025 AGO update. 😞

Here's the link to the app to see the filter behavior: https://fhgov.maps.arcgis.com/apps/instant/reporter/index.html?appid=8ecd6c5e368d4dc1af046eec9470160...

Thanks! -Matt

P.S. Thought I'd tag you @SubaKrishnan as it looks like you were looking into this in another thread. Thanks!

@MatthewMalone We think this is happening because the "Request Type” (reqtype) field has a coded value domain associated with it.  "Excessive Noise is in a field but isnt in the domain list so doesnt have an associated label which is causing the error. If you add it to the domain list or delete that row in the data it should work. Let me know how it goes.

Hi @MatthewMalone Thank you for reaching out. I can repro the issue in your app but we're not able to see it in our apps. Let me do some more digging and I will get back to you.

Thank you Suba! If you need me to test or configure anything on our end with the app I will.  As I mentioned, it worked fine without any configuration when we first deployed.  Thanks!

@MatthewMalone Is the filter with same parameters work in map viewer? Did you customize this app, its pointing to a customelement in the console when I hit the filter icon.

I didn't customize anything in the app other than using the out-of-the-box configuration tools.  Are yous aying you'd like me to test the web map in the Map Viewer?

One thing we did modify was the pop-up for the Status.  Internally, our directors didn't prefer to have the four primary steps, so we changed it to show these three categories.  Maybe that's messing with the filter?  BTW, we had it set like that before and it worked.

That did it Suba!  All the entries up to now have been just for testing purposes, but we must have removed Excessive Noise as one of the types using the CSV update tool and Notebook.  I removed that row from the table and now the filter is loading and working as expected in both the CPR and Manager apps.

I appreciate your quick response and solution! 👍

Thanks again!
