I have a Sidebar instant app with url parameters configured and it's just not responding at all. It used to for sure end of January but today it is not. Yesterday, I swapped the web map in the app after troubleshooting some issues and redesigning the web map... but now the url parameters are non-responsive. The concept is simple, PARID= for the parcels layers in the map. I tried clearing out url parameters, publishing, adding back in, I added the layer to the search... stumped! URL parameter name has to match the field name right?? There's no configuration settings to tell it which field to pick so I assume so. Is there something in the web map or layer I'm supposed to do??

App URL with url parameter: Olmsted County Parcels

App Settings:

Map Layer:

Hi @Teresa_Blader

Thanks for reaching out about this. When you change the map in the configuration to a new map you'll need to re-configure the URL parameter setting. From the screenshot shared above I see that you added a parameter name, but can you confirm you selected the field the parameter will point to? The parameter name does need to match the field name.

Please confirm that after you added the URL parameter name you also selected the field the parameter will point to. Let me know if there are any additional questions.

Thanks!

Sarah

I think that's the issue... I have no options!! I thought something was missing.

I needed to click the tiny "Field" button haha! Thank you!!!
