Enable Pop Up in Nearby Instant App

Is there a way to enable pop ups in the Nearby Instant App? I like the look and functionality of this new app to find the features within a radius of a specific address, however it would be nice to also be able to click on a point to view the pop up instead of just it just creating a new search location.

The popup content in the Nearby app displays in the side panel. Once you have a search location defined and results in the side panel you can click the individual features and the side panel should scroll to and highlight the popup content in the side panel. I've attached a short video showing this in action
