Bookmarking instant app to ipad homescreen not working

I have a public instant app that I want bookmarked to a company ipad homescreen.

I am able to add it to the homescreen, however, when I tap the icon to launch the bookmarked app it goes to the default zone lookup app.

I have used the zone lookup instant app.

Could someone please advise what can be done so that the bookmark works?

This is a known issue and has been resolved, it will be fixed in the first update of ArcGIS Online in 2023.

If anyone else has this issue, use Apple's Shortcuts app.
