If your layer list is organised into groups then clicking on the layer name toggles the visibility of the group. This is counter-intuitive - users expect clicking on a group name to expand the group. This is a particular issue when using a mobile phone where trying to click on a tiny down arrow is fiddly.
It's also an issue when using the search layers function. If your layer list is organised into groups, the search returns the group the resulting layer is in, and it is unexpanded. It would be more intuitive if the group was automatically expanded so the user can see the actual layer name that matches the search term.
