I'm sorry to hear you're having issues loading the JSON.
When it comes to JSON importing issues, it's often a formatting error in the JSON file itself. That's my experience with all software. (I've never actually run into this with ArcGIS Insights, though.)
I'm not saying this is the issue, but it is likely.
One technique I've used in the past to debug a misbehaving JSON file is to analyze the format of a JSON file that works when you import it and compare it to the JSON file that is causing an error. The offending problem/difference between the two files is often in the first few lines of code or at the very end.
