Arc Indoor- Standard and Advanced license

Afternoon all.

We are testing some Arc Indoor capabilities within my organization.

ESRI gave me a month long evaluation or trial of Arc Indoors. I have a Professional user type, which is a Standard license in Pro.  With that user type/license I am able to run all the Indoor tools, databases, etc in Pro.

I am not able to make anything floor aware in AGOL or when I share from Pro.  Am I doing something wrong, or is that the difference in Pro and Pro Plus (Standard and Advanced)?

It is what it is, so I might have to pony up and get the big boy license

Thanks

@KyleKeath Standard vs Advanced shouldn't make a difference in enabling floor aware data, so far as I know. Here is the license config info. (You do need Network and 3D Analyst if you're doing Indoor routing stuff). Not sure where exactly in the process you are running into an issue, but you configure the floor aware data within the web map properties.

Your services need to be floor-aware too. In ArcGIS Online if you go to your content and look at the hosted feature layer item with all your indoors data, it will specifically say if it is an Indoors Hosted Feature layer instead of just a normal hosted feature layer. To get it to do that, you need to configure a floor-aware map in ArcGIS Pro and publish it as a service. To configure a map in Pro to be floor aware, you need to go into the map properties, find the 'Indoor Layers' section and choose your Site, Facilities, and Levels layers. Then publish the whole map as one hosted feature service with all your indoors layers together.

It sounds like your trial license is for the "Indoors Pro" licensing configuration. If that's true, you can make floor-aware maps in Pro and publish them to AGOL, but you can't make any updates to Floor-Aware ArcGIS Indoors functionality while you are online in Map Viewer.  If you want to add additional floor-aware features to your map, you would do that in Pro and overwrite the map online.  Once the floor-aware map is published, you should be able to share it as a map or open it in Experience Builder and add a floor filter widget.

We had the "Indoors Pro" license for about a year before we upgraded to the "Indoors Maps" License.
