We have 46 ipad kiosks with ArcGIS Indoors viewer deployed around 11 campuses. Not all are facing north. We would like the option to rotate the map in its starting "you are here" position so it shows the user what's in front of them. I know it is possible to rotate the map manually, but most people don't know which direction they are facing when they start using the kiosk, so they don't know how to orient the map. If the map is manually rotated it resets to north after a minute of inactivity.
I wonder if this could be addressed by having a field for Rotation added to the Sites and/or Facilities feature classes. Then for any app that uses the Floor Filter widget (ArcGIS Pro, Indoors Viewer, Space Planner, Indoors mobile)—when you choose a Site or Facility from the dropdown the app reads the the value from rotation field and applies it to the map.
