Changed ownership not reflected in Hub item

The ownership of some of our ArcGIS items were changed from one person to another. However, that change is not reflected when that item is used on the Hub. 

I tried deleting and re-adding the item. I also waited a week. The new owner shows as the owner in ArcGIS Online Content but the old owner shows as the owner on our Hub.

Cynthia, we often run into this issue.  Our workaround is to change the sharing permissions on the item from Public to Owner, and then back again to Public sharing.  This seems to push the change through to the Hub, for whatever reason.
