Can't see Map Template item from AGOL in possible Hub Gallery content

I have an AGOL item of type "Map template" (https://puctx.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=6cfc143bc16e45369f5077ea82d7062f#overview). I would like to bring this into a Gallery card in ArcGIS Hub. However, it doesn't show in the card's possible items. This happens whether I choose Manual or Dynamic.

I don't see "Map template" as a type in the Gallery Card". I selected ALL the types available and sorted alphabetically and did not find my item.

I made sure that permissions are set to public. I also included the hub content group in permissions.

Esri Support worked with me on this and after internal consultation said: The internal team has confirmed that the functionality of adding a "Map Template" data type item in the Gallery card of ArcGIS Hub is not available yet in ArcGIS Online Hub Sites." They said they would log an enhancement request for this on my behalf.
