I am trying to work through the Virtual Campus Web Class Intro to ArcGIS 9 Geostatistical Analysis. In the interpolation Methods portion it asks you to create an Inverse Distance Weighting interpolation by modifing the search neighborhood. It asks you to change the following values.
Neighbors to Include: 5
Include at Least: 2
Shape Type: (Four Sectors with 45 degree offset)
Angle: 340
Major Semiaxis: 100000
Minor Semiaxis: 50000
X test location coordinate: ???2050000
Y test location coordinate: 216000
When I try and change the Major or Minor Semiaxis to the above values, the "Next" button gets grayed out, and the Preview window doesn't update. I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Anyone have suggestions?
