WP7 GPSLayer shows null.How to set IsEnabled property code behind.

Hi,

I tried the sample code for location service example from below url

The code is working fine and i can see blue marker on the map but i want to stop gps service on button click.

I tried   myGpsLayer.IsEnabled = false; but it's showing myGpsLayer null and throws error message.

Because of this i am not able to attach any event or can't set any property in code behind.

Any help would be appreciated.
